I found that checking my weight every couple of days motivated me because i noticed it made me feel like i wasn't wasting time. As for music i listen to Rap

My main motivations are the way that I'll look when I have lost weight, and the way that people react to the massive change.
I also find weighing yourself weekly in front of someone acts as a motivation, as you want to impress the person. I weigh myself in front of my boyfriend and my mum, and it's a really big motivator to me.

Upbeat music (or any music that makes you smile) can get you in the mood to jump around and exercise, so I suggest listening to that too.
